We were able to participate in a ceremony with an NGO (non-governmental organization) called Angeles de los Arenales that provides support services to families with children suffering from cancer, principally leukemia. The Church of Jesus Christ donated Pediasure to help supplement the nutrition for these children.
Some of the local young-adult members of the Church (pictured in the yellow "Helping Hands" vests) near the headquarters of this NGO came to sing Christmas carols to the children, give them a gift of some whole-grain fresh chicken sandwiches, fresh juice, and a nice cookie.
