Goodbye to Peru






We will miss our new friends. We have enjoyed living in La Molina, Lima and have felt safe and welcome here. We hope in some small way we have been able to lift others during our time here. Rob is posing for his photo here with a transportation employee whom we passed by everyday on our way to the office. There was always a friendly greeting each and every day.

We have come to love the people of Peru as we have traveled through most of the country during our assignments. This country has incredible geographic diversity and colorful traditions. Our service and experiences here have forever changed us, hopefully for the better. We will truly miss this country and all of the people whom we have had the opportunity to know. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

    Rob and Mary, thanks for all you did tho make our transition into your role a smooth one. People come by the office looking for you, and we tell them you have left and we are now sitting in your seats, but there is no way that anyone can ever replace the Merrills!
